The Butler County Chamber of Commerce will present the ‘Community Impact Award’ at the annual meeting on Monday, January 16, 2017. The award will give recognition to individual(s) in the community who have contributed in a significant way to the advancement and betterment of the entire community. The name of the award is based on the type of community impact and service rendered by the individual(s) being honored.
Nomination letters must include the name, address, phone number of both the nominator and nominee as well as a short essay (300 word maximum) describing their contributions and reasoning for the nomination. This essay will be read at the banquet if the nominee is chosen. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, January 6, 2017 to the Butler County Chamber of Commerce - 457 D Street, David City, NE 68632.
The keynote speaker of the banquet will be Matt Davison, Color Voice for University of Nebraska Football and Basketball, a member of the 1997 National Championship Team, and President of Creating Captains Foundation. Tickets for the Annual Banquet are available at the Chamber office at the rate of $35 per person. This event is open to the public.
