Reserve Your Spot For Small Business Day At The Capitol, April 12

There is much being considered this session by Nebraska lawmakers. If you are a small business owner or have small business interests, spend a morning at the State Capitol on April 12 and learn about the issues that could impact our small business community. The 2017 Small Business Day at the Capitol will provide information on key bills pending in the Unicameral. This is your opportunity to learn more about proposals addressing income tax relief for small business; workers' compensation; unemployment insurance reform; regulations; workforce development; paid family medical leave mandates; and more. Highlights will include a visit from Gov. Pete Ricketts and several state lawmakers in key leadership positions. The event is being presented by the State Chamber, NFIB/Nebraska, Nebraskans for Workers' Compensation Equity & Fairness, the Lincoln and Omaha Chambers, and LIBA. Cost for the program is only $20 per person, which covers materials and lunch. Guests are welcome.
