(Omaha World-Herald) -- Omaha.com reports that "manufacturing growth eased to a moderate pace in April and May in the seven-state region that includes Nebraska after rising rapidly early this spring." That's according to a survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Still, area manufacturers "are as optimistic as they have ever been about the future, said Chad Wilkerson, an economist at the regional bank."
