(NTV) -- Nebraska.tv reports that "a mailing targeting those who do business with the Nebraska Secretary of State's office is once again causing confusion." Secretary of State John Gale "says the solicitation, which requests a payment of $150 in exchange for the preparation of documents, did not originate from his office." The mailers target non-profit corporations and LLCs. "Several people have contacted Gale's office to see if documents provided by the company are necessary or required in order to file with the Secretary of State's office. Gale says they are not." The article also notes that "starting on Dec. 1, a message will appear on the front page of the Secretary of State's website letting business entities know about upcoming deadlines."
