As an assembler at Thunderstone, you will perform general manufacturing and assembly operations on tarps and related products. You will build, fasten and assemble components, operate fabrication equipment as assigned, and perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.

Material Handler – Timpte Parts Center – Lincoln, NE  $16/hr + quarterly bonus!

In this role you will be responsible for picking and packing materials in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.   Move freight, stock, or other materials to track numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets

Timpte is looking for a Welder to weld assemblies using fixtures and clamps, setup and operate robotic welders as assigned, use cutting torches and grinders as needed. You will also perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator - $50k + (depending upon experience)

Provide support in the Health, Safety and Environmental Department to continually create a culture of safety within the organization, at all facilities, by ensuring effective and efficient compliance with local, state and federal regulations and agencies, assisting with facility safety process to protect employees, the company, the environment, and provide a safe and healthy workplace. 

Systems Administrator – David City - (Salaried - depending upon experience)

In this role, you will provide IT support to staff on all company networks and applications.  Troubleshoot computer problems, determine source and advise on appropriate action.  Complete application project-based and assigned

objectives-based work.

Buyer – Current Products – David City - $55/year + (depending upon experience)

As the Buyer – Current Products, you will be responsible for identifying and developing supply base, for current and newly designed captive parts or assemblies, to support an assemble-to-order production flow. This individual

will lay the groundwork for their team of planners and support all planner activities.  

Drafter – David City - $21.50 + (depending upon experience)

As a Drafter, you will support the Product Engineering Design personnel with drafting, BOM input, special options and other duties as assigned by Product Engineering Management. Detail drawings and modify existing drawings.

Sr. Product Engineer – David City – $85k/year + (depending upon experience)

Timpte is looking for a Sr. Product Engineer in our R&D Facility in David City, NE. The Sr. Product Engineer leads the planning and designing of research, development and testing of products as it aligns with engineering processes.  

The Sr. Product Engineer will be developing project timelines and task lists for projects and meeting completion dates. Leading and managing Engineering projects. Support design efforts of Product Engineering team and developing models and drawings for products and components.

Quality Manager – David City $90k/year + (depending upon experience)

In this position, this person will be managing the efforts of the Quality team and warranty team at Timpte to supply consistent, structurally sound and visually appealing product and services to our customers.  The Quality Manager will also develop, execute, and analyze reporting measures and report to management team on quality issues, trends, and losses.  This person will work closely with our Engineering team, and Warranty/Sales teams to identify and rectify product/process problems identified through warranty claims. 

Sr. Electronics Engineer – David City $90k/year + (depending upon experience)

Timpte is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineer for the David City, NE facility. This position will lead the planning and designing of current products production and improvement and/or leads the planning and designing of research, development and testing of products as it aligns with engineering processes.

COUNTY JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE:  Laborer I

DEPARTMENT: Road

PAY RANGE:  $16.50/hour - $17.50/hour

REPORTS TO: Under the general supervision of the Highway Superintendent and under the direct supervision of the Road Foreman.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Perform a variety of skilled and unskilled manual tasks in construction, repair, and maintenance work on roads, metal culverts, concrete box culverts, and bridges. Operate specialized equipment used by the crew to which an incumbent in this position is assigned; operate trucks, tractors/mowers, and vehicles as instructed.

Essential Functions

Perform maintenance and repair work on bridges and box culverts, remove and install planks and sub floor on bridges. Use acetylene cutting torch to cut steel, reinforcement rods, braces, and other materials. Install concrete forms for new construction and repair work according to instructions, use string level to level forms, cut, lay, and tie reinforcing rods for new concrete, assist in pouring new concrete, level and finish surface area of new concrete, lay burlap covers. Assist in the installation of metal culverts according to instructions, install retaining bands on culverts. Operate specialized equipment such as tractors/mowers, power broom, woodchipper, etc. Use hand tools such as shovels, posthole diggers, pry bars, carpenter tools, chain saws, power drills, power saws and other power operated tools and equipment. Perform manual labor such as brush removal, pavement patching, loading, and unloading trucks, backfilling dirt, installing signs and similar tasks. Clean job site, forms, tools and equipment, and shop area as instructed. Operate trucks, tractors, and vehicles of a non-specialized nature as instructed, haul trash, scrap materials, dirt, rock, sand and other materials or supplies. Perform snow removal and sand/salt spreading duties, either manually or by utilizing motorized snow removal equipment. Check vehicles, trucks, tractors, and other equipment for readiness condition, proper fluid levels, proper tire pressures, and other factors necessary for correct operation before use, report problems or deficiencies to immediate supervisor. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, assist in servicing and repair of equipment as required by department. Maintain an organized record keeping file of receipts, equipment maintenance reports, time and attendance reports, equipment usage, deliveries, or other information required by the department. Perform duties on an on-call basis as needed. Perform other duties as directed or as the situation dictates.

Experience, and Abilities Working knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment common to manual labor; working knowledge of hazards and safety practices common to manual labor; ability to organize tasks and work with others; ability to understand and communicate written and oral instructions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, co-workers, supervisors, and others. Essential Education, Certifications, and/or Licenses

A high school education or experience and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities are required. A valid Nebraska driver’s license is required. CDL preferred – not mandatory.

Essential Physical Demands and Typical Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk and listen on a two-way radio. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed in both an indoor garage facility and outdoors in all types of weather conditions and temperature variations. Worker is exposed to grease, dirt, gas fumes, sun, and inclement weather. Normal hazards are present in working with machinery and vehicles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can sometimes be loud.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Providing the citizens with the highest quality of service by ensuring safe and efficient receipt, screening, and processing of emergency telephone calls requiring emergency action by police, fire, or rescue squads. 

Essential Functions

▪        Operate the police, county, fire/rescue, and information consoles and ancillary equipment. 

▪        Operate console radio equipment and provide appropriate command, control, and support information for public safety. 

▪        Answering incoming 911 emergency calls and obtain the basic required information from the caller for an emergency response. 

▪        Monitor alarm systems for local businesses and residences and alert the appropriate public safety agencies as necessary.  

▪        Monitor cameras focused on the jail booking desk, waiting area, and door to the Communications office. 

▪        Offer basic self-help assistance to callers, as appropriate. 

▪        Answer incoming non-emergency administrative calls, obtain pertinent information from the caller, and respond to requests for information as appropriate. 

▪        Maintain forms, logs dispatch cards, incoming/outgoing teletype messages, reports to/from records, and other files and records according to established procedures.

POSITION TITLE:  Dispatcher – Part-time                                                                          

DEPARTMENT:  Butler County E-911

REPORTS TO: E-911 Coordinator

SALARY:  $15-$17/Hour DOE

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Providing the citizens with the highest quality of service by ensuring safe and efficient receipt, screening, and processing of emergency telephone calls requiring emergency action by police, fire, or rescue squads. 

Essential Functions

▪        Operate the police, county, fire/rescue, and information consoles and ancillary equipment. 

▪        Operate console radio equipment and provide appropriate command, control, and support information for public safety. 

▪        Answering incoming 911 emergency calls and obtain the basic required information from the caller for an emergency response. 

▪        Monitor alarm systems for local businesses and residences and alert the appropriate public safety agencies as necessary.  

▪        Monitor cameras focused on the jail booking desk, waiting area, and door to the Communications office. 

▪        Offer basic self-help assistance to callers, as appropriate. 

▪        Answer incoming non-emergency administrative calls, obtain pertinent information from the caller, and respond to requests for information as appropriate. 

▪        Maintain forms, logs dispatch cards, incoming/outgoing teletype messages, reports to/from records, and other files and records according to established procedures. 

▪        Be alert to and aware of ongoing activities involving the other console operators and offer appropriate backup assistance. 

▪        Participate in special projects and assignments that are directly related to the mission, operation, and/or maintenance of the center. 

▪        Perform other duties as directed or as the situation dictates.

▪        Ability to learn the care and operation of the Communications Division equipment, including computer input and retrieval procedures. 

▪        Ability to learn and apply the policies, operating procedures, and methods utilized in the Communications Division.
