Butler County Senior Services is looking for energetic, friendly applicants for a Kitchen Assistant. This is a part-time position with benefits. Monday-Friday 9am-2pm most days. Duties include helping the cook prep for meals, washing dishes and other miscellaneous kitchen duties.

We are also looking for part time drivers that will be driving people to Omaha, Lincoln, Columbus and other surrounding cities. Some trips do involve people who use wheelchairs. You will be trained in proper techniques for these trips. Must have a good driving record and pass DOT drug & alcohol testing. Hours vary, Monday-Friday, typically 6am-6pm. Hours would not exceed 25 hours per week.

We are looking for a volunteer driver to drive in David City between the hours of 8:30am and 3:00pm. Duties include taking people to their appointments and to do their business in town. May need to drive in the country short trips to pick up someone. Also, may carry their groceries in for them. You will get your meal free on the day that you drive. If you would like to do a ride along to see what this entails, you are welcome to do that. Must have a good driving record and be a patient people person.
